Get a taste of our incredible Canadian Arctic through artist Cory Trépanier’s extensive northern painting journeys. A resident of Caledon for almost 30 years, Cory will be sharing a few stories from his northern painting excursions. He will also be showing a sneak peek from some of his upcoming 90minute film: Into The Arctic II, which airs this fall and will also be screened in selected theatres. Peruse one of his large works in progress along with some smaller works begun in the field from the developing Into The Arctic Collection of 50 oil paintings. Probe Cory with art questions. Pick up an autographed DVD of one of his films. And, of course, enjoy the McMichael Canadian Art Collection as well. Cory will be in the gallery's Grand Hall before and after his talk in the theatre that begins at 1:30pm. Bring a friend out for an inspiring afternoon!
